Sinéad Long

Originally from Birmingham, Sinead trained at Timmin's Academy before completing her BA(Hons) degree in Musical Theatre at The Arts Educational Schools, London. She went on to play Serena in the original UK Tour of LEGALLY BLONDE, following with roles in the UK Tours of TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT and JERSEY BOYS. Sinead performed in the 2016 and 2017 Olivier Award winning revival of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre before making her West End debut in the London Coliseum's revival of CHESS. She also performed in Hackney Empire's sold out biopic tribute to Martin Luther King in KING IN CONCERT and Nottingham Playhouse's hit version of SWEET CHARITY, playing the role of Rosie. Sinead can also be seen in DOCTORS (BBC) as Carly Ford and has provided vocals for various events such as THE CLASSICAL BRITS, performing with Il Divo, and PARIS FASHION WEEK. Pre-Covid, she was performing in the West End in the highly popular show HAMILTON.

Aside from Sinead's successful performing career, she is an established vocal coach and has launched her own business, WEST ENDUCATE, providing bespoke West End workshops for schools and organisations up and down the country.

West End workshop with Hamilton’s Sinéad Long.

This workshop is suitable for anyone over the age of 13. There are limited spaces available so please make sure you sign up quickly so you don’t miss out! This workshop will cost £10, if you book multiple workshops the discounts will be as follows: 2 workshops- £15, 3 workshops- £20. This workshop is brought to us by West Enducate.

  1. A short warm up

  2. Learning choreography from the show

  3. Discussing the performance element and then learning to apply it

  4. Q & A session


What will you need?

  1. A love for performing

  2. As much space as possible to dance

  3. Lots to drink

  4. Wear something comfortable that you’re able to move in

  5. Any questions you have for our workshop leader. This will be useful for those who are planning to go into this industry and/or looking at attending drama school and further education. This will also be really interesting for those who love this show and want to know more about what happens behind the scenes. You may also want to ask her about the shows she has been in previously.
